Rincon Basko - Mar del Plata

We heard so much about this place and we look forward to a visit! We have the Gambas al ajillo and a court called vieiras sole. When we started eating, we noticed the fouras (scallops) dish was a shrimp and cream that covered it. We told the waiter we had the wrong court and he explained that this court was coming with shrimp, but that the scalopp was there too. We were shocked. In fact, the foursomes were there and had the size no greater that a peanut. Probably it was a scalopp cut in 6 pieces for the whole plate. Small portions for the prices they charge for the main dish is really not great, but to hide mischievous tactics is really not what we expect from him... Very disappointed.

Very good seafood, very fresh, large portions, very friendly service and good prices. I knew this restaurant many years ago, along with the Taberna Baska (unfortunate, it recently closed after almost 60 years), Rincon Basko is my favorite food restaurant.

Wonderful food, very fresh, excellent quality of fish, seafood, meat and rice, large portions, great service. Quiet.

Attended by the same family for more than 30 years. The food is excellent, please ask the best of the day with the waitress. good prices, excellent shrimps!!!

This restaurant is among my favorites in Mar del Plata; best seafood, outstanding service. We had “Calamaretes a la Lyonesa”, “Abadejo a la Vasca” and “Natilla” as a dessert. Everything is great. One consideration: do your reservation head of showing up, it is usually full....Highly recommended !!!
