Vails Brothers Shrimp Chicken Fish

On this visit it was my fourth. The first was excellent. Nice hot fresh food. Second visit missing items and special requests. Third visit food was over cooked. Fourth visit I am never coming back. Spent over $20 on fried shrimp that was over cooked and missing the honey hot sauce request. Fish was also over cooked and missing honey hot request. Minding I paid extra for the sauce. On top of that missing side item of onion rings. Lastly when I examined the shrimp closer two of them had a course black hair fried with the shrimp the hairs was stuck in the batter. I was disgusted and had to pull over my vehicle to puke. Cook should really pay attention to where the hairs are coming from. Never again for me. That cut the cake.

This is one of those places I’ve driven past countless times. I finally stopped in about a year ago and I’ve been hooked ever since. SUPER friendly staff. My girlfriend got the tripe sandwich and she said it’s amazing. She could tell the tripe had been properly cleaned. I always get the wings. These guys are seemingly hand breaded to order. Thin, crispy, breading and satisfyingly juicy meat. NOT jumbo wings which is a huge plus. Jumbo wings are a curse to the realm of chicken. I recommend their signature hot honey sauce. That’s part of what keeps me coming back. 9.2/10 clucks.

I ordered for the first time at the Grove location. A side item was missing when me and my guy noticed that there was one closer to us in the loop. This location actually replaced the missing side.. No big deal, things happen. And we ordered additional items after seeing how good the first order looked.Both locations: Very friendly staff, very clean, food was FRESH and DELICIOUS! The butterflied shrimp, homemade tartar sauce, stuffed turkeys legs.. everything!! I'm a new loyal customer. Come and get you some!!!

Lord hammercy I love this place. Sadly for my waistline, I haven 't had a bad meal yet! I usually get the jumbo shrimp and chicken combo. Sometimes if I 'm sharing I 'll get the shrimp, fish and chicken combo tossed in honey hot sauce, with a dash of lemon pepper! Always a tasty treat for sure! This time, Wilbert and Kelly (awesome team btw) put me on to Pasta Thursdays! Whew chile!!! I got the seafood pasta, Wilbert cooking self made it Cajun per my request and that delicious cheese garlic bread. Excellent meal and customer service. Thanks for all the good stuff ya 'll!

The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because this was my first visit. The customer service, atmosphere and food were on point. You have to try the Honey Hot wings...fyre ??
