Bidrage med feedbackOur first night in this beautiful city was almost spoilt by choosing this restaurant. Service was slow and inconsistent. We are a family of 5 and all our food arrived separately with significant time gaps in between. We couldn't eat together ! Pizzas were very good so such a shame to eat them in a rush as the other meals had long been served. Don't be put off coming to stunning Mantua but don't waste your hard earned holiday money here at Marechiaro.
Service staff was ok in general but bit funny and looked a bit confused. We ordered pizza which was actually good. They should be more transparent about their prices. They charged us 3,40€ just for bringing us forks and knives and from what I could tell from reciept a plate for pizza ??? .
Lots of locals seemed to be eating here so, whilst it's more expensive than some places, it seemed worth a visit. I had the traditional pumpkin ravioli and my husband had the tagliatelle bolognese, which was very tasty and came in a big portion! Very close to the Palazzo Te, with outside seating, too, and an English menu.
