Tl's Family - Manteo

I love the sitting atmosphere, the menu is quite large for what appears at first glance as a small town diner. They offer lush puppies as an appetizer, and our actual meals were delicious! I got the Cheeseburger and my partner got the BBQ Sandwich w/coleslaw. We were both impressed by how good the food was, how quickly it came out! My burger should be a 1/2lb, but it was DEFINITELY much more than what the picture proves. If we are ever back in the area, we will definitely return

Great little local restaurant. The staff are very friendly, and so are the customers who all seem to be locals. Eating was really good and have a piece of cake. Simply accessible from everyone, and many parking spaces.

I ate TL. You can sit down. You have long and short tables for your party. I ordered the fried chicken flour. Your fried chicken is made to order, so it took some time to cook (they tell you that before the time), which made me nothing, because I was not on a deadline. The food was good. The waiter was nice.

They serve the most delicious Hushpuppies at the beginning. the cook came out and spoke to us and told us about the BBQ. the environment was very local and friendly. our waitress was very sweet and explains how the food is very locally produced and fresh. Boy was right. I never had such juicy and delicate shrimps! She also told us how they have 2 local ladies who bake the deserts for the restaurant daily. Next time we have to try the deserts because we definitely go back!

If you’re looking for true southern hospitality and a delicious breakfast, this is your spot. Everyone is friendly and the waitress was super sweet and attentive. We met the owner Brian and had a great chat with him while we ate. I tried fatback for the first time (when in rome! , biscuits eggs and bacon, and my bf had an omelette- we both loved our meals. Great place, highly recommended!!
