Santa Luzia - Manteigas

I was having dinner with a local friend, and the food was ok. The problem was when we paid. A simple beer was 3€ and a glass of wine 2€, weird. My local friend was astonish with the beer price and he claimed the price. The boss come and he discounted us one euro. We staid talking outside and we order another beer to a different bar tender. He told us the beer was 1,20€, but immediately the boss come and he told us the beer was 2€. We felt like he was charging more money to foreigners.

Had a very bad experience. We ordered the steak that came chewy, and they insisted on grilling it again and bringing it back, inedible. Didn't touch it. Was charged. Other food was mediocre. service was aggressive.

Encontramos este restaurante en la ruta motera de mayo 2016 por la Serra da Estrela, en el interior de Portugal. Pudimos saborear varios platos típicos de la zona (excelente el cabrito al horno), mientras disfrutamos de las vistas del valle y río de Manteigas en esta época del año. Muy buen servicio y relación calidad-precio.

Muy buena comida y un gran ambiente. Una magnífica vista.
