I went to Ernie’s with a couple of friends and family. Very lovely and elegant place. However I was very disappointed with our server Junior. He seemed bothered with our table from the moment we got there and ignored us on several occasions when we tried to ask for drinks. My wife was very displeased, as it was her first time coming. The food here is exceptional. We ordered the crab cakes and French onion soup for starters, went with the NY steak and pork chop for our mains with a side of crab fried rice, and topped it off with the Affogato for dessert. The food here is great, but the mains we ordered were exceptional... Near perfect seasoning and cook on my steak (medium rare), and my wife loved the pork chop (medium)... Parking: The place is next door to a casino, but plenty of parking was available when we arrived at 7pm for our dinner reservation. Kid-friendliness: We took our 5 year old toddler and our 1 year old infant... We did not face any issues... Do keep in mind that this place is next to a casino, and most of the tables at Ernie's were occupied by adults... Ours were the only kids that night. So although we had a really good experience at the restaurant... Experiences may vary with your children. This was our first time here and we celebrate my wife’s birthday. The place was cozy and very romantic. Staff are very nice from the receiving and during the dining stay. Junior is the best. He even recommend the best drinks and food to us. We will definitely go back and eat again here. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended place you will be mesmerized inside.
