Bidrage med feedbackThe atmosphere and the owner are fantastic at this restaurant! The Pulled Pork Burger and Jon's Cheesesteak were both delicious and very satisfying. The only downside was the French Fries, which were quite dry on the inside. We will definitely be returning soon to try a dinner. Despite living in the area for most of my life, this was my first time at West's, and I was impressed.
This restaurant is excellent for dining and enjoying drinks. The blackberry lemonade is a must-try and is truly fantastic.
Beautiful, inside ,great service and food. We loved the raspberry moonshine in the pink lemonade ?
The one star is because I couldn't post anything without a star.Worst customer service ever! Would not recommend. Very rude and food tasted terrible. To start my husband ordered a glass of root beer (it was flat) they changed it out with a different drink which didnt taste good either but it made do.I ordered battered mushrooms(they was still frozen)He orders his food prime rib medium (well it came out so dry there wasnt even juice on the plate) with a side of smoked baked beans(they was sour tasting)The waitress (which turns out to be the owner) comes to the table asks how the food was my husband responds with honestly sir it is terrible! The guy just looked at him with a confused look on his face.We go to pay our bill and my husband asks for the manager the waitress/owner responds with I am the owner. My husband said I am not trying to be mean but your customer service sucks, you should really work on it. The guy didnt have a I am sorry or anything. He was very rude. We will not ever eat there again!
The New West is a good sit down/bar style restaurant, they offer more local alcoholic beers and have an inhouse moonshine that I am looking forward to buying when it 's available.Food was good, I ordered a sea food plate with multiple dishes, 3 steaks, and a few alcoholic beverages. The wait for sitting wasn 't the best, mainly on waiting for limited staff, so we opted for the bar experience. The counters looked hand made and inviting.Food was decent, this is my second visit to this restaurant, the first time was last week for a burger and a beer, both were OK for the price, only complaint is that the burger itself could have used a little more seasoning, and Id have liked to see thicker cut fries. Overall worth the price. The seafood was cooked well, with my only notes being that the shellfish was a little dry, the shrimp was lacking flavor, and the crab cakes (I believe that 's what they were) were watery on the inside. What really made the meal was the Macaroni and cheese, baked potato, and crab legs. These were all very delicious. The steaks were our dead note, we had one steak sent back to be replaced. The first one was well-done when ordered medium-rare, but came with zero pink. The replacement steak was definitely good in flavor, but definitely not a highlight of the meal. Now I 'll get to the staff. This place is under-staffed, but sometimes that means the existing staff is good. This staff was amazing. The waitress we had was on her first day (we believe) and just getting the hang of the job and did an amazing job of keeping us both filled up with drinks, and entertained. I would go back if for nothing else but the staff.Cons:-Steak was sent back for being overcooked-Have to pay for water (bottled only since they have poor water quality)-Alcoholic moonshine not available for take-home purchase a few months-UnderstaffedPros:-Good food for price-Inhouse Moonshine is worth the visit alone-Good Wait Staff-Very clean layout and floorspace-Original alcoholic drink ideasOpinion: I will be returning hopefully soon to experience the great atmosphere, staff and drinks!
