Oak Park Tavern - Mansfield

We stumbled upon this nice little Tavern when out on a motorcycle ride. We stopped on a Saturday afternoon around 5 and it was absolutely packed with people. They take reservations, highly recommend that on a weekend. They have a nice little bar and a surprising fish/seafood selection along with other traditional tavern fare. Added bonus was driving along the lake on the way there. Wheelchair accessibility: This is a very old building with a partial gravel parking lot and steps to enter. Fairly tight spaces inside. Probably OK with a walker, would not recommend a wheelchair.

Always inventive entree’sPerfectly mixed drinks. Friendly, efficient service.Get the fried perch or walleye bites, salad wedge, baked potato. Excellent side car, martini, dessert! Watch tv at the bar or sit with friends in the cozy dining room. Airy outside dining also. Parking: Large lot, free parking.

The food was spot on here and the servers where just great. Never ran out of tea. Plan on going back for the fish soon

Favorite hidden gem. Great food. I normally sit at the bar, and the bartender is amazing, very attentive. I have been going to this place for a while now and brag about the food all the time.The atmosphere is a bit odd. The buildings physical features are not great at all. It's very outdated, and the restrooms and hallway to the restrooms have a sewage smell.Also, the last few times I have been 6 waitresses have been arguing with one another in front of customers.bit is a restaurant, and there will be hiccups.Overall, I have to say that this is my #1 place to eat in the area.

Great wedge, would order it again. Really well portioned plates. Food and atmosphere are good and service was great
