Manning Motor Inn Restaurant 2006

We stopped for lunch on our way back to High Level and were pleased to see that the restaurant had recently undergone some much-needed renovations. The dining area looked much improved and fresh. The washroom was also renovated and looked like they may be working on other areas as well. My wife enjoyed her hamburger and I tried the lunch buffet, which was decent. The service was okay, but it seemed like the server was more focused on chatting with their Filipino friends who were dining there. Overall, it was an okay experience.

The typical small town motel. clean and comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. Eating times in the restaurant could have been a bit better. the new property will take over from the next month.

I believe this restaurant is about to be condemned.

Received criticism for having mushrooms growing in the rooms and black mold.

I went in because the restaurant across my motel was closed. Menu really confused me because it was mix of chinese and western food. so I ordered chicken noodle soup and a bacon cheese burger, and patty wasn't even cooked, it was stone cold (seriously) so I asked them to cook it up for me but they said since I had a bite, They can't do that!? these chinese imployees were so hard to communicate they just started to yelling at me. So ok. I paid my bills and didn't paid them tips. but guess what? they charged me 15% tip on the reciept.
