Fish Shack - Manly

I found this place, just toe. very fast service and eating was very good, which is fantastic. comes definitiw again. the prices are very reasonable and I mentioned the view. friendly waiting staff makes this a very nice lunch place.

I went to this restaurant on a nice, cool Tuesday for lunch. The service was extremely bad and the waiter was rude and unprofessional. They served our meal on plastic plates, which was disappointing. The sign claimed they have "Fresh Fish Daily," but I have my doubts. Myself and three other adults all agreed that the food was very poor. I would not recommend this restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I ordered a salad and a half pound of fresh tiger prawns, which were absolutely delicious and fresh. The salad was also tasty, although I thought there was a bit too much dressing on it, but the dressing itself was delicious. My son and his friend tried the Soft shell crab burger, which they loved. The chips were delicious, and the burger was a good size and very tasty. They were impressed with the food. The restaurant also had a good selection of wines by the glass at reasonable prices. The service was very attentive, and the location right across from Manly beach couldn't be beat. Overall, I couldn't find any faults with this restaurant.

Unless you like poor service and grossly overcooked fish of suspect freshness don’t eat here. I made the mistake of ordering oysters, one of which tasted so bad I had to spit it back into its shell. Very disappointing in an area of so many great places to eat.
