Wendy's - Manistee

The night manager was very rude from the beginning after we asked for queso fries he said nope we are out of queso fries and baked potatoes and chili and we close in 20 mins ok I didn 't ask all that n idgaf when u close in customer service if someone wants something hing; try ur beat to giv them just that. Not say your out of something and be rude about it just because you close in 20 mins. N by the way just becuz you close at midnight doesn 't mean you leave at midnight. You serve food until midnight so you shouldn 't plan on leaving work until 1230-1am because of cleanup. But whatever looked over that but then we paid and he didn 't offer us a receipt so he had us pull over to a parking space to wait for our food so we did he brings us our food n walks away so we look in our bags as usual to make sure everything is there and then forgot a cheeseburger plain so again no big deal we back back to the window my wife taps on the window and got a woman 's attention and the woman said yes my wife says, we didn 't get one of our cheeseburgers. So she walks in the back and a young cocky manager who took our order and took our money came to the window and said, yes my wife said sorry but u forgot one of our burgers the manage then proceeded with an attitude toward my wife saying, well how many burgers do u have because u only ordered 3 my wife said, no sir we ordered 4 n he said no you didn 't you ordered 3 my wife, that 's why I had u repeat my order back sir n there were 4 burgers he then proceeded with more anger basically calling her a liar and said look at ur reciept my wife then stated you didn 't give us a receipt he said yes I did I offered you a receipt with your card she said no sir you didn 't. So he went and got the reciept and said see there 's only 3 burgers I said ok so you still forgot one cheeseburger plain just because you didn 't ring it up doesn 't mean we didn 't order it. So I said ok well your in customer service so instead of arguing with us you should be trying to make it right weather we have to pay for another cheeseburger or not. He said I 'm not arguing with you I 'm just telling you. By now u was getting upset my wife had enough and asked for his manager and he said I am the manager, my wife asked this boy about 10 times for his name so she could call corporate on him and he refused to giv us his name and kept getting loud with my wife saying his name was on our receipt after my wife pointed out that there was no name on the reciept. He kept his attitude saying it 's on the reciept I s on the reciept not letting us get another word in I asked him so what about our cheeseburger and he said it 's on the receipt. So now I 'm mad!! I said our f g cheeseburgers on the receipt. Smart A ur lucky I don 't come to ur window he said come on. So i went to get out to call his bluff n then it was good soon as I sat back down he continued to be rude with my wife and myself. And soon as I said I recorded him and that I was calling corporate he calmed down n changed his attitude but I 'll never go back there as long as PUW the night manager) works there. PUW was the only thing close to a name on the reciept so now my wife and I reference that douche bag as PUW. I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent, and the staff were wonderful. I understand that many places are facing staffing challenges, but they handled everything remarkably well. I will definitely be coming back!
