Fishbar - Manhattan Beach

Came for lunch on Thursday and there were plenty of seating in the big restaurant. Pretty good fish restaurant. Location is a block from the beach...

For brunch with friends. The drinks and the food were delicious. Also had some appetizers (Salmon bites, Calamari, brussel spouts, Shrimp cocktail). I forgot to take photos, but they were also delicious Our server was also very sweet attentive. I would recommend the Fishbar

Imagine you are a mermaid and you can be human for just one day. They crawl on the beach and try to go, but your new legs will not cooperate. You spend a few minutes getting used to your wobbly bipedal limbs before you start your adventure. The first thing you should do is to FISHBAR. It is just a few steps from the sea and elegantly captures the essence of your home in any dish. It is an experience that will enjoy your mouth while your eyes can take the human experience of the reputation of the passersby. You should order oysters to start and the salmon next. Finish the meal with the donuts. I also recommend getting the crab queso, damped shells and lobster bisque. The mussels and bisque are served with bread fried in butter, reminding of the fall in New England (do not ask me why, it is easy). Eat everything. You will breathe too full, but this is the essential human experience you need to have on a day in the country. Then you can pack it and go home. It is nothing else to do better than this meal, not even in love. Trust me.

I came on a Friday early afternoon with one of my colleagues. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly! My friend ordered the Fried Shrimp Plate and it was really great! The shrimps were crispy and juicy. And the two sides she got were great. The Coleslaw was one of the best I had in a while, and the brussels sprouts were on the point. It's a great place to come for Happy Hour! We found that they oysters in Happy Hour and a few nights a week they do different specials. I will definitely be back to try them out.

Nice little jewel on the strip. Parking can be difficult, but small meters parking above the road. Customer service was excellent, the drinks were delicious (not pictured, sorry), and the food was great.
