Indian Spice - Mangonui

Enjoyed our time here as the service was attentive and friendly. The orders came out pretty quickly without long wait times between entrees and mains. The location is beautiful too with water views if you choose the outdoor seating. Overall a good experience, will visit again in future.

Very accommodating staff, lovely food with a winter lunch special of curry, rice and Nan bread $12.50 ea. We paid extra for Lamb $2and were very happy with our meals. Restaurant was very clean and well presented, just a little cold with no heating for winter patrons.

The food is excellent but the restaurant smelt strongly of cigarettes and the courtyard could have done with being swept of dirt and cigarette butts ... also would be nice to have tables and chairs outside rather than old picnic tables. Had just opened... was not the end of the night. Will definately get takeaways from here but would not sit in again.

Best Chicken Fenugreek curry I have ever had! Servings good sized, no being stingy on the rice either. Menu varied, with lots of options. Food is well priced, mains between $18 and $20-00 NZD, service fast, surroundings historic, and scenic.
