Very good restaurant. The service was good and very kind. Also for our son from one year. The food was also very good good beef and very good gamba's for acceptable price
Stopped here for lunch on a very windy day. It is located just beside the railway station in quite a secluded little spot. The (curly haired) waiter was extremely attentive and informative and spoke excellent english. We had very generous rib eye steak with chips and salad which were cooked just as we asked. Daughter had a delicious pizza from their wood fired oven. Little expensive compared to some others in the area but we choose to eat a la carte and there was a set menu priced at around 13 euros which sounded good value. Downside for us was the large TV showing non stop music videos throughout lunch.
We booked a table for 4 with "piece du Boucher". The meat was just awful, they did not respect the cook that we asked. It was over cooked. The female waiter is really nice and friendly but the boss looked at us during the diner. He was just friendly to take the money but really rude. It is summer time and no ice cream for the desert. It is not a really nice restaurant.
Of the 7 places we ate in La Napoule, this was by far the worst. The "maitre d " thinks more of himself than his customers and the staff seem to follow his example. The salmon starter tasted of nothing. My wife's starter arrived with her main meal. It was returned, but they still tried to charge for it. Credit to the waitress that she immediately removed it.An unpleasant experience in a village where excellence seems to be the norm, or , at least restaurants are striving to get there.
