Bidrage med feedbackI was curious to try this since I always see it whenever we eat at the food court. Finally got the chance last month and the food didn't disappoint. We tried the non-spicy flavor. There's just little fat which is such a great thing since I always remove the fatty parts. At first, I was looking for lechon sauce but we were just given vinegar. Now I know why - the lechon meat's very flavorful. You can eat it even without the vinegar though the vinegar enhances the flavor more. Price is a bit high if you'll base it on its location but quality-wise, it's very worth it.
Didn't blew me away the first time I tried but then I caught myself going for Manilachon's Lechon Porchetta again and again whenever i stopped by the foodcourt. That's when it hit me, Manilachon's the only reason I kept coming back Must try: Spicy Garlic Lechon (value meal) Taste/Food ☆☆☆☆ - Not the traditional lechon you're accustomed to but definitely something you can get used to. Checks out everything on the list: tender and moist meat, just the right amount of fat, crispy skin, delicious. The vinegar, salsa, and soup that come with the value meal also help balance the richness of the lechon. Service ☆☆☆ - Service is consistently good and quick serving of orders can be expected Place/Location ☆☆☆ - Probably the cleanest and best-looking store there. You get to see what happens behind the scenes so you're sure about the quality of the food they dish out Value for money ☆☆☆ - A bit pricey as far as foodcourt prices go, but definitely worth it
Opted for the spicy variant. Meal deal of 149php consists of rice, lechon belly, fresh salsa and soup. Soup was clear, salty with bits of spring onions and piping hot so nearly finish it. Salsa was so-so. Lechon was great. Soft, spicy and flavorful. Skin tastes like chicharron. Just a teensy bit of fat. Served with spiced vinegar which I liked. Even it was kinda late, everything still tastes fresh which is rare in Megamall foodcourt. Kudos!
Went to Megamall to buy something so I opted for any fast-food joint at the food court.Seen this lechon joint a Cebu type lechon or if you like to be European it's an Italian porchetta.Ordered the budget meal for Php149 ,chose the regular flavor over the spicy variant. The meal was consists of lechon,a bit of salsa, their vinegar and a free soup. Let's go for the lechon it is a rolled roasted pork belly, the skin is crispy ,the meat is flavorful and not too salty which I like tho a bit dry texturewise ,it could have been better if they served the newly chopped product than the pre chopped ones.Salsa nothing special and free soup was too salty.Service is fast. For me it is an option if you're craving for some lechon belly on a budget.
