The River - Manchester

They knew that they were in a hotel restaurant and it was quite cold that ruined the atmosphere; but eating was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful so I would go back.

My wife and I enjoyed our meal provided with exceptional service. the personal was very accommodating and made us welcome. I would recommend family and friends to try this fabulous restaurant. brilliant!

Good food for a special occasion. However, it was spoiled by: being welcomed and asked if I had a “voucher” booking. (they had no recording of the OpenTable reservation) surrounded by local businessmen, with the restaurant to meet. Come-on lowry, please treat the guests with more respect and have separate dining areas for business and fine eating, so it does not approve the experience.

The whole experience was wonderful the bar staff very attentive and friendly the restaurant was beautiful all the staff were helpful attentive but not over the top which is what we wanted lovely music playing in the bar gave the perfect anbeience to the hotel and restaurant

Fantastic food, looking forward to visiting when the ballroom is back open
