Bidrage med feedbackTable for 6 people on a Saturday evening was looked after well by attentive staff. Menu choice is good and our selection included starters fish cakes, tempura king prawn and crispy pork and mains Chicken Penang curry, duck broth, tofu pad Thai noodles. All dishes were freshly cooked from the open kitchen and arrived as ready. The food was hot stuff (literally) and a three chilli dish was hot for us so look out! Authentic cafe vibe. Note toilets are a short walk to the lift lobby.
The food was the worst Thai food we've ever had. It's a small place but they still forgot our orders, food came before our drinks and they had run out of some of the things on the menu. Noodles were chewy and had chunks of boiled egg in, the ingredients of the pad Thai weren't really mixed in. People coming in after half u were told that they couldn't have rice dishes, which is half if the menu. Would not recommend going here.
I stopped by Siam for a quick meal before heading to a movie, and I was greeted warmly and seated promptly. The menu was accessible through a QR code, which seems to be the standard nowadays. Upon making my selection, the waiter, a man, was quick to come take my order. I mentioned that I had a movie to catch in 40 minutes, and he promptly checked the time and rushed to the kitchen. I ordered the Ka Na Moo Grob, a spicy pork belly stir fry dish, and the waiter warned me about its spiciness, to which I replied that I enjoy spicy food. While waiting for my meal, I took some pictures of the simple yet charming restaurant. The chef caught my eye while cooking, providing a personal touch by assuring me that my food would be ready soon. When my dish arrived, it was piping hot and looked delicious. Both the chef and waiter checked on me throughout my meal, making sure I was enjoying every bite. They also accept card payments, so there's no need to worry about that. I recommend taking your time to savor the food and ambiance at Siam, as it is definitely worth it.
This is the worst restaurant of its kind that I have ever been to. The food was terrible and the portions were small. Many customers left in frustration due to long wait times for their food. The place was chaotic. When it came time to pay, the server walked off with my card and then denied having it. After we insisted, she miraculously found it. As someone who eats and travels around the world, I advise you to avoid this scam of a restaurant at all costs.
My friend's rice dish with a fried egg also fell short, as the egg was well done with a runny yolk instead of the requested firm yolk. The black coffee was served in a jar without a handle, making it difficult to pick up until it had cooled down. Despite the waitress appearing to be busy on her own, the lack of flavor and presentation of the dishes was disappointing. The lack of heating in the restaurant also made for a cold dining experience. Unfortunately, this was the worst Thai curry I have ever had and we will not be returning.
