Bidrage med feedbackThis was famous across UK for its Jelebi but they started going downhill. So they passed it on to new management. The new staff and management are no better and in some respects are worse. The older staff serving on front counter are awfully slow at service, you end up feeling sorry for them. The price of their core product Jalebi has skyrocketed. Its only made of flour, sugar syrup and throw in cost of gas and wages. But such a high rise in price? I think other contenders in that area might get a visit from me. They also sell asian sweets which are reasonable quality but again, very overpriced. A big warning stay away from their spicy snacks like samosas, pakoras etc; they are absolutely awful. Recently whilst I was there for jalebi I was feeling a bit peckish and asked for a portion of chicken samosas; what a mistake. The samosas were malformed with hardly any shape, the stuffing was more or less raw. You couldnt even look at it never mind it. Had to throw the samosas in the bin at the back car park. These guys have ready made customers for jalebi and running on the past business name. But they are treating their customers with contempt and disrespect. They will soon see falling footfall.
894438313 AVOID! Totally gone downhill. STAFF are very rude and dont want to help. The old man said to me if you dont like it go elesewhere so i did! I went to jalebi sanam so much nicer and serve fresh. Unfortunately this place is not up to standard, staff dont care and food is stale. Owners take note!
Wow cant believe im giving them 1 star. Today i bought 8 half kg box. I broufht rhwm to london. They were soggy and raw. Instead od producing quality stuff. These not original staff are rynn8ng the place down. Do the owners not care anymore.
Bone coming here for over 2 decades. Last three visits have been gate. Sub standard sweets, always stable or late. Won't be going back anymore.
This is my regular stop at least 3 times a year to get jalebi. Went this morning to pick up a box of jalebi, first thing I noticed was different people working to whom I have seen before. On the Jalebi section there was a young male and a older male working, the older male was weighing and packing whilst the your one was cooking the Jalebi. I placed my order and was told to take a seat as it would take 15 minutes, that was not a problem as it gave me the chance to look at the menu board and work on my knowledge on what each Indian sweet was. Whilst waiting I saw the younger and older male both chatting away and eating at the front counter where they was cooking, I found this unhygienic and disrespectful as they was making people's orders and if they wanted to eat their food they should have either taken a seat away from the front counter and especially from people's orders. The older guy was talking and bits of food was coming back out of his mouth back on the counter he was working. He even cleaned his nose with a tissue but instead of washing his hands he carried on touching food and utensils on the counter. The third chap was serving customers at the front and he was using gloves and was not eating any food. The establishment was not busy I was the only customer at the time but they had phone orders, twas other workers present that could have covered. The quality of the Jalebi has diminished considerably. The flavours are not there like they used to be. I used to hear from people, when businesses become established they forget about their customer base may be that is the case here. Not number one any more in the UK, definitely 1 of the worst with the current standards.
