We discovered anand bhavan a few months ago and they have the best dosas in many sorts. a dosa is a thin rice flour-crepe, often filled with a warm potato mixture and seasoning. try podi masala dhosa for many spicy and floor lenses inside. anand bhavan also has the best chai in bahrain and the owner ensures that the mix of kardamom, cinnamon and ingwer is perfect. also the delicate rice flour steamed pancakes served with a tiny pot of coconut cahutney and a tiny pot of spicy one-pot (sambar) are best sublime and refined Indian cuisine and makes for a big breakfast! the average cost for a meal here are $3-4 us. anand bhavanis ca. 30 meters down the small street from the Hindu temple art in the shadows short over the crossing of a larger road that crosses the small street road, on which the Hindu temple and anand bhavan are. the best way to get here is to go to the intercontinental hotel and from there to the modern Souk building (about 5 minutes to foot) from there they ask the Indian people how to get to the Hindu temple, which is only 5 minutes to foot the main road from the great modern Arab Souk building with its wooden roof. also here the Hindu people in the neighbourhood can guide them and they will find it. anand bhavan also has signs above the eye level on the second level above the road.
The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and the food is delicious. A must-try dish is the Misal Pav, and their South Indian offerings are also excellent.
We discovered Anand Bhavan a few months ago and they have the best cans in many varieties. A dosa is a thin rice flour cake, often filled with a warm potato mixture and spices. Try Podi Masala Dhosa for many spices and floor lenses inside. Anand Bhavan also has the best chai in Bahrain and the owner carefully ensures that the mix of cardamom, cinnamon and ginger is perfect. Also the delicate rice flour steamed pancakes served with a tiny pot of coconut cahutney and a tiny pot of spicy stew (single) are best sublime and refined Indian cuisine and makes for a great breakfast! The average cost of a meal here is $3-4 US. Anand Bhavanis about 30 meters down the small alley from Hindu Temple type into the shadows just over the intersection of a larger road that is over the small alley road that are the Hindu temple and Anand Bhavan. The best way to get here is to go to the Intercontinental Hotel and ask from there directions to the modern Souk building (about 5 minutes walk). From there you ask the Indian people how to get to the Hindu temple, which is only 5 minutes walk up the main road from the great modern Arab Souk building with its wooden roof. Also the Hindu people in the neighborhood can guide you and you will find it. Anand Bhavan also has signs above the eye level on the second floor level above the road.
