Bidrage med feedbackI had received a gift certificate to the terrace on the green from a radio advertisement, us a $50 gift certificate for $25. My husband and I made a reservation for 7:00 on Saturday night. Initially we had a little effort to find the right entrance and parking, there are two and both not terrible near the entrance. Once we went through a beautiful lobby with a roaring fireplace and the restaurant where we were immediately greeted by the maitre'd. He mentioned that she was a special one on Martinis, 10 cents at the bar. So we sat at a bar that was pretty busy, but it's not a big bar. I ordered an apple martini and my husband got a dirty goose martini. We enjoyed them both very much and when we got the bill, it was certainly 21 cents! We were then taken to our seats overlooking the golf course, which was beautiful. The restaurant is not too big and it was about half full. It has an upscale but relaxed atmosphere. People who float from table to table, a family in the corner played a card game, everyone was very loud and gay. We had a nice young woman as our waitress who was more than happy to offer her proposal when I asked her what to get. I chose the Hummer Hash appetizer and the Kalenporterhouse as a duck. My husband has a crab cocktail and the potato crust hooliage. We all have our choice of 1 supplement, I believe where 8 or so. Our appetizers came out and they looked wonderful, I was happy to see how much fresh Jumbo lumb crab meat came into the cocktail, not a bad price for what they give you, I think $14 for it. My lobster hash was delicious, beautiful and fresh. So far, so good. Our Entrees came out, my Kalb Porterhouse was huge, I ordered it medium, it looked more on the middle rare side, but it was still really good. My husband Halibut looked very good, it had thin sliced scaled potatoes for the crusts and drizzled over top a lime green cloth. He loves seafood and he said it was very good. We were too crowded to taste every dessert, but finished with 2 cappuccinos that were delicious, and our waitress gave us a rock candy stirrer that was really cool. All in all, we really liked everything and would definitely go back to sunlight.
