Bidrage med feedbackSort of stopped coming here with the buyout but returned after 2 years at PCC in Columbia City (since I live walking distance from PCC). It was really just one cashier there that drained all of my serotonin and dopamine levels with his terrible attitude not even from a service perspective but from a view of decent human interaction. Anyways, great interaction with the cashier here, also PCC lowered my bar quite a bit. haha. Cheaper, better service, better selection. A farther drive but well worth my time and money.
We showed up at this Whole Foods for the Sunday 7:00 to 8:00 reserved senior time during the pandemic. We parked in the obscure garage and entered the elevator at 7:00 A.M., pushing the proper buttons. Nothing happened. The elevator didn't move. Fortunately, the door opened, but there were no stairs to the Whole Foods Market. Returning to the car, we left the garage to find a parking spot on the street. Forget about it! This Whole Foods is a joke!
On a side note, I read my reviews from ten years ago and am shocked at how much useless verbiage I spewed out. Blah blah blah! However, I do not delete them because it is a time capsule of my younger self. Anyway, ten years later, Whole Foods is slightly better, but still often out of the things I like today it was the clam chowder or the chocolate chip cookie dough balls which have been discontinued. I also like the meat department. Lastly, Talon always goes the extra mile at the register. Cares about making sure my soup does not spill, for example. Little things like that go a very, very long way in my book, and quite honestly, people like Talon are the main reason I come back at this point. 3 1/2 stars I would say overall.
Interesting ... lines are out the door, pizza and soups are running dry and the bar is closed... almost feels like the store has missed the service mark....
A great option for a quick bite to eat, or to pick up a treat (hello cake slices). If you're a Prime member, there's a good amount of in-store discounts, but you will have to hunt for them (signs are well placed, and a good size). Their hot food area has quite the variety, and seems to be replenished consistently. If you come to Whole Foods for the hot bar consistently, you'll notice the options don't seem to rotate out much so it will become predictable. You can either dine in (they have large bowls) or take it to go (small and medium sized take out boxes); all utensils and condiments are at the front of the store/behind the wall of the registers for the quick check out line. Near the hot food area are pre-prepped refrigerated meals (ex: lasagna), a Pizza bar, and a sushi bar (to go packaged items also offered). Seating is plentiful if you're dining in, however tables don't seem cleaned consistently by the staff, so bring a handful of napkins and be prepped to wipe down before you chow down. Needing to bring some alcohol for a party, or to pair with a meal later? They have a nice selection of wines, as well as hard liquor. Most of the hard liquor (even the lower priced options) are locked so you'll need to find an employee to free your alcohol. Tips: -DO NOT COME DURING LUNCH (11:30am-1:30pm), otherwise you will be stuck in lines at all the registers. This is typically when the Amazon lunch rush happens, more so when the weather is nice -Amazon Prime member? Download the Whole Foods app, and link your account. When checking out, scan the barcode within the Whole Foods app (connected to your Prime account), to apply any discounts that are being offered in-store for Prime members -Street parking is your best bet, though be prepared to park and walk over as parking is pretty competitive. Not worth trying to find a paid garage -They do have a security guard at Whole Foods, this may or may not be a con for some. They're typically stationed at the main registers, and most have been friendly
