Bidrage med feedbackOur meal was a truly Dickensian experience: we started out with great expectations, then crashed headfirst into bleak reality. Well, we learned our lesson. Large, tourist-oriented businesses can easily afford to value quantity over quality, and that, inevitably, shows. The aubergines on our pizzas were few, the olives even fewer. The same cannot be said about the cheese which was abundant – just not very good. Let me elaborate: it looked like an old, oven-baked sponge and tasted accordingly. Long story short, would not recommend.
We saw the beautiful place under the chestnut tree, wanted to go there and thought that the pizza will hopefully be ok. Far from it: we got the two worst pizzas on Lake Garda, in Malcesine anyway and in general for a long time. My pizza was really bad and cost 13.50 euros. When I told the service this on request, the long-haired waiter immediately reacted reproachfully and we also got no limoncello with the bill. Conversely, it would have been normal if a guest was not satisfied and we would expect at least some effort to understand why. To top it all, the restaurant charges coperto, but in return there is nothing: no bread, not even breadsticks, recognizable cheap olive oil, blunt knifes, just poor in every detail. The host seems to save on everything: friendly service, quality, little extras in every other known form. It is simply a rip-off and our recommendation: avoid at all costs!
Not sure what other people’s experiences were but our pizza was great. Fresh and loaded. Afternoon up the mountain and a beer and pizza to finish. Spot on

Hochsaison am Gardasee, Malcesine von Touristen überrannt... und wenn ich etwas Rezession hier mehr Terroristen lese. musste ein wenig warten, der freundliche Kellner hat uns ein Prosecco in der Hand gepresst das Essen war köstlich, sugo arrabiata sehr gut schmeckt und die Pizza auch sehr gut. Es war fair. Sie müssen in Italien überall bezahlen, die Sie wissen (oder nicht.) Sie sitzen hier nicht ewig, essen gemütlich und wieder weg. andere haben Hunger und das Restaurant ist, Geld dort zu verdienen
