Hok Lay - Malang

Authentic place with good atmosphere. I ordered her special menu with thumb up, here is my opinion lunpia semarang: not a fan of it. I don't like it, it stinks. but can actually be covered with Kahn-Rohreit or akar. lomie: came with a big hot part. the best choice for rainy season. I like it! it puding: not really special, but still ok to order fosco: the coca cola bottle I thought to come with soda, but the taste is like the milo with more sugar. not really so, but it's nice to try because it's like no other. cwimie: I asked for a swallow of my friend, the broth is tasteless what I did not expect. but this place is worth visiting when they have visited malang, it is like you.

We ordered pangsit cwie mie, lomie and pangsit kua. all are delicious and price is affordable. also pia kacang hijau is really good. the place has only 6 tables, so we have to wait when they arrive. but the owner is friendly and offers us some chairs to sit.

Sooo, let's just go to the point. that is it! hands down best place when they long for mie ayam. the place is so old, even only to come in this place gave me chills. the food is super ingenious and tasty cooking. I can not believe that they serve lumpia semarang, which has the same authentic taste as the original lumpia from semarang. the food tastes so good. you must try them. the place is clean, and food delivery is fast. they only accept cash payments. kudos to hok lay restaurant, kamsia!

A legendary place you should not miss when in Malang. It has been around since 1946, and the building still retains the original colonial style up until now. Don’t miss out their Fosco, Dutch style iced chocolate served in a coke bottle. There is a hint of saltiness in it, which makes the drink super addictive. You might unconsciously order another serving as you just can’t get enough of its goodness. As for the cwiemie, it tastes rather bland to me.

One of legendary noodle place in malang. This place never changed for quite a long time. The noodles is tasty and light. Don't forget to order Fosco it's unique you won't get that kind of drink elsewhere . Recommended to come when it's not the busiest time.
