Taste Of The Med - Malahide

Happened upon this cafe wine bar (advertised that way) My wife ordered a wine to be told that they don't have any. Food was quite nice but slow service, maybe because it was a bank holiday weekend.

Taste of the Med was the 1st place we had breakfast in after arriving on a family vacation in Dublin and recovering from jetlag. Wife and I sat outside and I ordered the delicious Traditional Breakfast with a crunchy bread and 2 eggs with orange yolk, 2 sausages, a black and white pudding, and 2 rashers. My wife ordered the egg scramble with salmon and loved it. We had good service and it's the perfect start to our irish vacation.

Dined here Saturday 25th very busy told it would be half an hour before we would get food decided to wait BUT it was over an hour before we received food that was my partners only I waited another 15 minutes had to ask yet again as to WHEN I’d get my order. It’s a lovely little restaurant the food is good but if they had communicated with us re delay it would have been 5 stars!

We had a gorgeous afternoon here so much so we came back for breakfast which All in all brilliant and very tasty.if in malahide definitely go well worth a visit.

Acai bowl is perfect, and so are the hot drinks. You can have oat milk in your latte! Good during the day, not open in the evening.
