The Coolstone At Eyam Hall Bistro

Had a really awful experience here. 2 adults and 4,very well behaved, children sat across 2 tables. As soon as we sat down our waitress had an attitude; rolling eyes, huffing and puffing. She threw the cleaning cloth onto the children's table, and there it stayed the whole time. Taking our order was clearly an inconvenience. She wanted to take the tables as 2 separate orders so it was easier to sort the bill. I pointed out we'd all pay together. More eye rolling. Our food virtually got thrown at us. It was excruciatingly awkward and embarrassing. We left as soon as we could and didn't dare ask for more drinks, napkins or straws. A real shame as the food and setting was nice.

Went here on 24th June to be met with a closed sign and notice stating they had ceased trading. Gutted to say the least, lovely spot with many happy memories of pizza and beer with friends. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
