Gods Of The Sea - Main Beach (QLD)

There are too few choices in the menu. Eating is good ambiente was nice, but we find it uncomfortable that before dinner the staff has already begun to clean themselves and ready to close.

First service of our complimentary bread was at 1 hour after we ordered, starters at the 2 hour mark and mains at the 3 hour mark. This restaurant left our group of 12 highly disappointed. Food quality good but we simply had to leave without desert with an hour in between each course. Would not recommend.

All the fish dishes were superb and so were the accompaniments. The waitress was extremely informative which really helped and the service was efficient attentive and unobtrusive.

Cod fish was overcooked Brussels sprouts was too salty. Portion size was not even. Some plates of the same dish served up more than the other. Not a good day in the kitchen

The Resturant was excellent for what we ordered. They didn’t have the king fish which was on the menu but offered us a New Zealand fish Hokier. Not as nice as the king fish. Wine was very dear considering it was Australian.
