Saito Pho Ii - Maili

This is our local hole in the wall, not much to look at but really good if you are looking for pho in the area. Service is not quick, so don't be in a rush. Sometimes you can call ahead, and sometimes they won't answer because they are busy, so be patient. The food is good, I really love the summer rolls. The broth is good, you can tell it simmers for a long while. Price point is good too, we eat here a lot because it is affordable and quality.

It 's getting hit or miss here. Every time I order extra cilantro for my phó, I end up with the usual measly sprinkle of mostly stems. Yesterday, I didn 't make the request, and got a few specks of cilantro. The bbq chicken, 2nd time in a row, was dried out, overcooked. I guess gotta go Kapolei for phó.

We want to takeout, got there when it just opened! Walking in, looked very dark...lady behind the counter saw use, but walked in the back/kitchen. We waiting for a bit, while another customer walked in wanting to sit! A little later a man walks out from the kitchen and asked the customer... how much? Customer said... are you open? For one! The man say yes(to being open) !! The customer had to get his own menu, cause the man didn 't even move, just stayed where he was! Then the man asked us... how much? We said... can we takeout? He doesn 't say anything and starts to put ice in the soda fountain compartment!! While he putting ice, we see cockroaches by the soda fountain/counter! We stand there for a few more minutes, then my mom say... let 's go it 's dirty here ! We just walked out...won 't try to go back there again!! This place doesn 't deserve any stars if you tell me!!

Eating was always great, the many times I was there. I am a sucker for her combo pho, spring rolls and also her lemongras chicken.

First time to come here was a success. I went in, was greeted and sat in less than five minutes. I have the menu, looked at it, viola, I ordered it.
