Bidrage med feedbackThe bouncy castle was filthy, covered in water so none of the kids could use it. The animals, chickens and ducks, were dirty and cramped in a small space with dirty water. There wasn't enough bar staff, resulting in a 30-minute wait for drinks served in dirty glasses and warm coke straight from the bottle. The food looked unappetizing and many people were complaining. There was a severe lack of seating available. Overall, this was not the family-friendly day out that was advertised.
I am still in absolute shock at how we were treated. My wife and children were told to f off out their pub at least 10 times before being told we would be thrown out if we didn’t leave. We were leaving just not quick enough I suppose. We only questioned the quality of the food which is supposed to be fresh, my children were served smash…that’s not fresh food and a kids meal is £10 each! I was with my 2 year old playing in what you could describe as a play area when I was approached by one of the owners shouting at me from the doorway. I couldn’t say a word before the tirade of abuse rained down from discriminating comments to profanity around my children, absolutely awful and will be reporting to trading standards! DO NOT GO TO THIS PUB, you will be disappointed!!
Having visited this pub many years ago with fond memories I was excited to take my family to the fun day….what a mistake. “Farm” was a few chickens. The bouncy train had grey water sloshing about in it and if you survived that you had to navigate a swingball to get out. Queue for drink was 20 people so didn’t bother. Stayed 10 minutes and left. Will never visit again.
The restaurant did not meet my expectations. The animals on display consisted only of chickens, ducks, and rabbits in small, dirty cages. There was rubbish scattered around the bottom of the garden next to the animals. There was only one person behind the bar, leading to long queues of over 20 minutes for a beer that tasted off when I finally received it. I had to queue up again for a bottled cider. The bar was serving soft drinks from 2-liter bottles purchased from a local shop. The food was overpriced at £6.50 for a hotdog, and there were only a few tables available in the garden for seating. The bouncy castle was dirty with water, moss, and wood chips. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.
I attended a family day at this restaurant and was disappointed by the lack of planning. The layout was poorly designed, especially for those sitting in the garden area near the playground. It was difficult to access the BBQ, animals, and live music which were located on the other side of the restaurant and not easily accessible with a pushchair. Managing the children's movements from one area to another was a constant struggle. The bouncy castle was unclean and the playground looked unsafe. The food was extremely overpriced, with a cheeseburger priced at £6.50 and a half-hour wait for a small portion of chips. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized. I will not be returning to this pub. It was chaotic.
