Amazing eating very attentive waiting staff, who was patiently helpful with food allergies choices really made the extra effort to be friendly, all 9 of us feel good after a special birthday dessert plate saw a beautiful surprise at the end of the meal for the birthday child! love this pub! really recommend it soon go back

Have eaten here many times since we took over. it is our favorite night. eating and service is always very good and very friendly. would also recommend to dive for lunch as it is always very good and cheap. we've been eating since his royal oak days. try it yourself.

Tonight was our first visit, but we had eaten doms in the royal oak paley street, so knew it was great. overall an excellent evening; really friendly relaxed staff and environment, good eating portion size and full taste and overall good prices. dominic has broken out to say hi and have a chat that was nice. So if they want great British cuisine, unfussy and full taste that make them pleasantly full, then make sure they visit. we will definitely make a return visit.

We had a nice lunch. we had the two cures for £15.95 and it was delicious, I had the fish goujons for starter and then the pasta dish, my sister had beetroot and goat cheese for starter and then the steak with fried egg with spinat and chips. it was so delicious. the personal was also beautiful and cheerful, we will definitely return another time.

Delicious food, friendly amazing service. Whats not to love? I had the venison, my friend had the pheasant. Both were supertasty. I tried to resist the deserts but gave in and opted for the chocolate and blood orange pot. Yum! Thank you for a lovely meal xx
