Lay Maikhao Seafood - Mai Khao

We were at the Holiday Inn for only 3 nights, but we were lucky enough to find this on our first day for lunch. We were so impressed that we had all our meals here. The food was delicious and the staff were lovely. We will definitely be back.

Food is superb, and prices are reasonable. Management and staff are great and friendly. A real gem,and is very close to Holiday Inn Mai Khao, Phuket, Thailand!

Sometimes the best restaurants are the ones hidden away that don’t over-promote themselves. Lay Maikhao Seafood is one of these. Fantastic service, huge portions, delicious food and cheap prices. The fruit plate was complimentary. If you are in this area you must come here.

My husband and I just got back from our 2 week Thailand honeymoon. We spent our last 5 days in Phuket at the Holiday Inn Mai Khao Beach. Our guide told us about Lays so after a long day we decided to grab dinner there which is only a few a short steps away from the hotel. The food was amazing! Like literally the best sea and Thai food I've ever had. It was so yummy that we ate there everyday for 5 days straight! Each dish we had was flavorful and we could tell was made with love. We had the grilled lobster, fried fish, garlic and pepper fish, garlic and pepper shrimp, fried rice, crab in yellow curry powder, shrimp in yellow curry powder, and my ultimate favorite papaya salad! I would highly recommended checking this place out. Everything we had here was great. Great food and Great Service was always provided. Until next time, we'll definitely be back.
