Bidrage med feedbackThis place is absolutely incredible. I was blown away from both the service and the food. Everything was farm to table and you could just say it by tasting. My friend and I talked to the owner, chef and chef baker and the passion they have for food shows in spades. Seasonally changing menu with custom cocktails at a price that is very reasonable. The best French onion soup I've ever had. Only not in the hope of things that are outside the season!
First visit here and left with good impressions, good food, good atmosphere! Refreshing upgrade from most Mahopac restaurants experiences! Will be back to try more of the menu. Chef/owner has a very external personality and a lot of energy that also translates the staff, as service was wonderful, attentive, but not transmitted. Has scallops for main meal and they were perfectly cooked, appetizers were brilliant, pizza too! Kudos!
Wow! Exceptional culinary experience. Farm to the table Food in a cozy location. Delicious, delicious, delicious. And everyone from the boss/owner to the Sous-Koch to the host comes by and checks everything. One of our new favorites. You have to go.
Absolutely amazing food. The price is a bit high, but to be honest, it doesn't matter. You can only say that the heart goes into each dish, from appetizer to dessert. I had the Cheddar sticks as an appetizer that came with a peach compote that blows me away, how unique and how full taste it was. As for the main course, the carrot Gnocchi Carbonara was phenomenal. To complete the night, I decided to go with the fresh (still warm and gooey) baked cookies and ice cream, unnecessary to say I was filled and overly satisfied at the end. The location is ideal for outdoor seats even in warm temperatures. Unfortunately, when I left, they had not received their fleet license, but I have heard by some friends that they have changed that so it is a necessary repetition. Do not listen to these 1 star reviewers who have only come here to try a small entrepreneur to build a brand, considering that they have only left a review (which is about this special restaurant). These are the types of places that really try to have an artistic and unique perspective on your taste buds, to which Nick's Plate has fully succeeded.
The food was all excellent and the chef/owner Nick very personable. Great for families as our kids were never considered a bother. They are also great with adaptations for food preferences and allergies.
