Bidrage med feedbackLovely little shopping village. Not from the area and nice to have a wander around the area, great gifts in chemist, newsagent. Yummy ice cream shop!
This is my local shopping centre and I love it. The bakeries are terrific, Coles, Woolies and Aldi are within walking distance of each other, the cafes are lovely and relaxing, I find all staff friendly and helpful, in general this makes the horrible task of grocery shopping a pleasure. There is one thing that I find very annoying and that’s the huge religious board outside Woolies. I do not appreciate religion being shoved in my face while I shop. Everyone has a right to believe in their own way but I don’t think it is necessary to advertise religion. I prefer to shop at Woolies because of the convenience of parking and the lovely little cafe but don’t feel comfortable having this massive poster staring at me while I do.
Try to avoid coming off Nichol St onto Hartung St in this shopping centre. A lot of near misses happen regularly, especially before and after school hours. Poor road visibility coming from the Stoneville road roundabout and with a lot trucks on Hartung St can make it more difficult. Besides that, not a bad review on the shopping centre itself but always keep your vehicles locked in this area, don't take the risk of leaving them unlocked.
Really quaint little shopping village. Everything you need and more there. You have to try the bakery, really good pies and cakes!
