Bidrage med feedbackWhat a disappointment! We have been going to Swiss House for 20 years, brought friends from North Carolina yesterday for “a special meal”. It was embarrassing. The Rosti was gray, greasy, salty and inedible. Pickerel was tasteless and overcooked. Asked the manager what was happening in the kitchen, “new cook” was all he said. Several other patrons sent back their food . I realize covid has many restaurants struggling , but if you are charging such high prices , your food and service should match it. We were never offered dessert and had to go find a server to pay. Used to be a dinner we really looked forward to. Not sure if it is under new management, but we will not be back .
This restaurant is a great place to access by sled. The food is amazing, the staff is wonderful, and the cabins on site are a fantastic place to stay. The accommodations are cute, clean, and comfortable. It's a hidden gem and we will definitely return!
Visited this property with a couple of friends for a weekend getaway recently, and had an amazing experience. This place is definitely a hidden gem, and we are thankful we found it! Food and service in this restaurant were excellent. You can definitely tell that the people who work here love what they do! Didn’t even know about the Sunday Brunch Buffet until we arrived at the resort, but it was AMAZING. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all on point (views of the lake are incredible! Will absolutely be back! Thank you!
This was the worst celebratory dinner I've ever experienced! The food was extremely overpriced. We had a reservation for 6:30, but didn't receive our food until 7:50, just ten minutes before they closed. The staff was already beginning to close up around us. The only positive aspect was the wine, but it was $9 for just half a glass. I will not be returning.
We turned up without a reservation. Normally this would not be a problem but this was a Tuesday night and all you can eat Pickerel dinner . some how they managed to fit us in. Despite being short staffed (Covid related as are many businesses) the service was great. Watch out for the super hot plates and serving dishes! Deserts were to die for!
