Bidrage med feedbackI have visited this place before, and not much has changed. It has the appearance of a restaurant, but the quality is more in line with a basic cafe.
I used to frequent this restaurant when it was known as Parisi's.
I just returned from having lunch. The food was still tasty but a bit too salty. Check out my photos. Unfortunately, the utensils were dirty and I had to send back two sets.
We had booked for 8 people. We received confirmation of the booking the day before. We arrived and the place was closed for urgent repairs. DEPITE HAVING OUR CONTACT DETAILS THERE WAS NO NOTIFICATION. What abysmal lack of service and courtesy. Never again!
We last ate here about 2 years ago and everything was very good so when some friends chose this restaurant we were really looking forward to the same standard.Unfortunately things seemed to have changed dramatically. For starters the service was very light on. It felt like one staff member was looking after the whole restaurant on a Saturday night. Drink service - we got water straight away but it took a long time for anyone to ask about any other drinks and when the bottle of red was brought to the table it was plonked in the middle and that was that!Table setting - very small paper napkin (would get better at a fast food restaurant) and only one set of cutlery for entrée and mains with no serving cutlery for the antipasto share platter. Food - the entrée platter we had was ok, the sliced leg ham was out of place - maybe they were running short on variety. Main course I had the oven baked chicken breast with chorizo - flavour was ok but just the initial "look" of the dish was a little average to say the least. My partner had the scaloppine al funghi - asked how she wanted it cooked which is a little unusual considering the thickness of the meat. Again nothing wrong with the dish but nothing special. The desert menu consisted of items from the cake cabinet and a few options on the actual menu. We shared the cassata - quite grainy with some coulis squirted over the top.Won't be heading back anytime soon - disappointed.
