For us, Avli tavern was the best tavern on Skiathos. We also tried others no comparison! In total we visited 5 times in one week and never regretted it. The friendliness and warmth of the family is second to none and the freshly prepared food was fantastic every time and the prices are more than fair! Each time we spent between 50 and 60 euros for really enough food (starters and main courses water 1 liter of wine sometimes also dessert) including a tip for the two of us. Don 't be put off by the hidden, inconspicuous location behind another, more touristy tavern !!! If you are looking for a really familiar Greek tavern with excellent Greek dishes and don 't want to go to a tourist hotspot, you will feel very comfortable in the Avli tavern!

Family atmosphere, quick, discreet, very approachable and super friendly service! The dishes we tried (marinated anchovies, feta cake, alloumi, fried calamari) were absolutely fresh and delicious, you could feel that they were homemade. Try the owner's desserts!
