Food was very good and came quickly. Customer service was excellent. Happy staff and beautiful place. They Notice the dog and the child.

This is my favourite place in summer when being at our summer cottage. Also very practical as you can take a boat and go first to the centrum, make your shopping and visit the market place and enjoy your coffee in the market cafe, and then go to this lovely place and have a beer, gin long drink, cider, wine or GT. Or having your lunch at the same time, my favourite is fried vendaces (muikku coregonus albula), in Finnish paistetut muikut, one of my sons loves fish&chips, the other many types of burgers available and also meat offerings, perfect for all of us, inluding the small dog loving muikkus, when tired to eat grill food at the summer house after many repair activities etc. at the working camp as my sons say, thanks to my ideas. And the best is that even taking a couple of beers, you can still have your motor boat trip back to your cottage without problems! Casual but regular Bavarian-Finnish visitor

Rantaravintola Kurkiniemi is located in a very nice spot in Mäntyharju Take your swimwear with you because you can take a swim after or before going to the restaurant. The staff was very friendly. There was nice seating in the yard; it was a hot day and luckily I found a spot in the shades. It seemed to be a popular place; it was packed when I left and many people ordered lunch. I only had coffee and ice cream.

Kurkiniemi is a must visit in Mantyharju. The setting is idyllic down by the lake. From the town centre, follow the signs to the railway station and then drive 100m further to a group of buildings on the lake side. The menu selection is every conceivable variation of hamburger plus a few Finnish specialities. You will be spoiled for choice. Dining is inside or outside depending on the weather and the day we visited it was perfect to be on the balcony overlooking the lake. Friendly and efficient table service in English so no language issues either. A good experience despite a lack of espresso. I am assured this very minor lack is soon to be corrected. No matter I shall return!

Erittäin hyvä palvelu, ruoka erinomaista, ranskalaiset rapeita, burgerit maittavia ja täyttäviä. Muikut ja chips erinomaisia ja maukkaita. Ammattitaitoon on perehdytty. Hyvin tilaa usealle asiakkaalle. Very good service, excellent food, crispy fries, tasty and filling burgers. Fish and chips excellent and tasty. Professional skills have been introduced. Plenty of space for several customers.
