Viavelez - Madrid

My husband and I had lunch with his cousins here. It turned into a birthday party for my husband, with an absolutely delicious chocolate cake that was a cut above! What was very nice was that, at our request, the multi-course lunch that would have been way too much food for the two of us was split so that each of us had a half portion of each dish (which was still a lot but much better than the full portions, quantity-wise). The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Along with the eleven adults, there were two not-quite-2-year-old twins, and the staff was super considerate of them, plus our table was in a spot that had plenty of room for their double stroller. We all had a wonderful time.

It’s been a long time that I’ve been made to feel so unwelcome in a Spanish restaurant let alone in Madrid. Very nice croquetas and ok wine but awful, rude, unhappy waiters. To be fair, it was busy, but they must be run ragged and underpaid to have been so unhappy and abrupt with clients.

Very nice and cozy restaurant.food is well presented and the test real Asturian. Service very friendly and smart. Price reasonable.

Estuve comiendo con unos amigos. No conocíamos el sitio y nos encantó. Los empleados muy simpáticos nos ayudaron a escoger. Desde luego volveremos.
