Trattoria Manzoni - Madrid

This is possibly the best Italian food I ate in Spain to date. And the Italian waiter who I believe is also the manager provided excellent professional service. I can't give five stars because the pizza base wasn't my favourite, and the interior/ambience is somewhat raw, but the home made pasta and starters were absolutely fabulous. This place is a little hidden gem and I wish them all the best.

I read an article from the the Spanish press where a list of the best Italian restaurants located in Madrid was shown. One of them is the Trattoria Manzoni, which looked good when I made my research. We tried a Vittelo Tonnato as starter which was disappointing due to the outstanding vinegar flavor. My wife tried the pasta which was average and I tried the pizza which is excellent, a very thin crust which dissolve in your mouth. It is an expensive restaurant, cozy and well attended. It is a good restaurant in Madrid to eat pizzas.

If you are in the Rio Rosas neighborhood just North of Chamberi, near Sorolla Museum. This is an excellent choice for authentic pasta and pizza in a casual white table cloth setting. Small menu. Small joint. Service just okay.

Comimos en la familia, la atención era muy buena, fuimos con un bebé en un coche y nos pusieron en una mesa con un agujero donde el bebé podía dormir su siesta pacíficamente, el buen gesto es apreciado. ¡La comida espectacular! ¡Repeal!

Pasta y pizza a mi gusto, FENOMENAL! El fantástico trato de servicio, muy agradable tod@s. Un 10...!!! ¡Atrás!
