El Reloj De Harry Sally - Madrid

We made a reservation up to a month in advance for last 26th November, and we got an email confirming the reservation for our dinner the day before, 25th November. When we arrived to the restaurant it was closed, so we ringed the bell several times until finally a woman opened the door and told us that it was closed due to a group dinner. We told her that we had a reservation and she told us that they had warned us about it. When we checked our mailbox we saw a cancellation email from 26th November at 11am (that is, one month after confirming the dinner they cancelled it the same day we had the dinner!! . Of course having a confirmation from the day before we did even not checked the email that morning again. In other words they chose money over good manners. Note that this happened when getting a table in a restaurant is very difficult since Xmas group dinners start. At least you always can rely on Caripen which is near and it never disappoints. I will never comes to this restaurant anymore and I told the same to my friends, and I'm I'm pretty sure some of them cancelled their reservation (I guess not the same day of their dinners .

Happened across this restaurant whilst walking off the beaten track! Took one look and decided to book for lunch the following day and we were not disappointed! On our return we were made to feel very welcome. The food was delightful we shared the prawn, potato and salmon starter, followed by my choice of seafood rice and mum had the chicken. Dessert was a difficult choice, but the rice pudding made with coconut milk and the gluten free carrot cake were a triumph! A very good Albariño to accompany at €3 a glass. This is a gem!

We have travelled around Spain for many years and at times have been disappointed with food and service. Tonight we have had the most lovely food with outstanding service. We were the only 2 English in restaurant of European visitors. Everyone was made very welcome. The local white wine was superb and my husband came home with 2 bottles of local beer. We have booked already for our last meal in Madrid. This is only the second review I have made and can’t stress how lovely a restaurant this is.

Pequeño pero muy acogedor restaurante. Menú cerrado muy rico en el que no sabría qué plato destacar porque todos estaban deliciosos. También destacar el tratamiento profesional y amistoso de su empleador. Un gran éxito. Definitivamente volveremos.

La calidad de su carta y la maravillosa de su entorno es sólo comparable al inmenso talento de juan pozuelo. Miro los detalles que resultan en un sitio idílico. la tortilla, la saladilla, los tomates, la carrillera. es un ejercicio de contención para ver la carta no pedirla completa y para el postre... Vermut, simplemente genial
