Bidrage med feedbackWe went to this establishment because it was a gift from my mother to my wife. Before our arrival, I already found out about this hotel, as well as the menu they have in the restaurant. One point that surprised me was that in the letter there was no 10% VAT. I remind the property that according to Law 44/2006 of December 29, a restaurant's menu must include the full price, including taxes. Therefore, it would be best for any establishment to always display its prices with VAT included. This hotel is located in the town of Madremanya and to access it you must go up a narrow street and then enter an unpaved parking lot in poor condition. The Figuera room and the pool are fine. My experience at this hotel was horrible and frankly, I will not repeat it. The reasons were the following: 1) The access to the hotel is regrettable, both in the parking lot and at the main door. For what you pay, you could improve access and pave or fix the parking. 2) Two days before our arrival, my wife received an email asking if we wanted to make a reservation for dinner. When we arrived, the receptionist pressured us to eat at the restaurant. I find this unacceptable and it made me suspect that your business is not going well. 3) On the first night, I couldn't sleep because there is the sound of a trafo and the soundproofing is terrible. For the second night I had to take an Alprazolam. 4) When we went down for breakfast, the waitress neither greeted us nor explained to us how the buffet worked. The service was stale and unprofessional. I got the impression that the staff is unmotivated. 5) The coffee is TERRIBLE. 6) On the second day, my wife found a hair (not ours) in the coffee during breakfast... NO COMMENTS... 7) There was a detail that made me very angry during the second breakfast. The owner appears shouting: Here are the newspapers! And then he and the receptionist start moving tables in front of us. Afterwards, the receptionist begins to sweep behind us. And all this, without having finished breakfast. Furthermore, the owner and the receptionist were talking about the restaurant's reservations that were low in a loud tone (I was already getting the feeling that the restaurant was not doing well). WE WANTED TO HAVE BREAKFAST QUIET AND WITHOUT INTERFERENCES. 8) The price of the restaurant is INCREDIBLE. Very expensive (both in the menu and in the menu), prices without VAT and it is not luxury. For dinner, we opted for other places that were nearby, of superior quality and at a fair price. On the outskirts, you can find menus for €25, with VAT and superior quality. YOU ARE NOT AT MARKET PRICE. 9) The price of €135 per night and €16 per person for breakfast is a STEAL because of the establishment. There are establishments in the area, better and with better prices. In short, we will not repeat this hotel and we will not recommend it to ANYONE.
Very nice hotel, thank you for your welcome and for your advice! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
We enjoyed a fantastic lunch, the place is extraordinary, all the details are well taken care of, excellent service, close treatment, quality cuisine with a tasting menu with local products, well prepared and very complete.... We have been in 'luxury '!! Next time we will try to do it with more time and come and spend a few days there.... Hello and cava...!! Food drinks: With an excellent menu and two very well prepared tasting menus with quality and local products, correct prices.... The wine and cavas list is quite well constructed, a little short on cavas as the only criticism.
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful Spanish village! Service was great right from the welcome on our first day. They spoke excellent English and even taught us a few words of Catalan to go with our basic Spanish! The owner is about every day and knows the area really well. He had great advice on how to make the most of our days out. Food was very good. A mix of local food with a few extra things from wider afield! The wine was also excellent including the local wines. Amazing team of people looking after us at tables. Willing to help any way required and so friendly. It was a pleasure to meet them all. Rooms were lovely. They kept pretty cool even without the air conditioning (which worked brilliantly). We had a double which I think was the smallest in the hotel but it was still a great size. King size bed, desk, coffee table and two sitting chairs with lots of space around them. Our 'kids ' (19,17 and 11) had a room which had a sofa bed double and two single beds. There was also a small dining table and a beautiful terrace. Beautiful pool, which whilst not huge in width is certainly long enough. It never felt crowded. It 's set in a lovely garden which is great to relax in. Only thing to be aware of is the village clock which maybe you only hear from the double we had (certainly you couldn 't hear it from the kids room opposite). It does ring every 15 minutes day and night. To be honest it disturbed our sleep the first night but after that not at all. For us it was part of the local experience! We would definitely recommend this place. Truly wonderful experience
