Yesterday afternoon, my husband and I stopped by Madison on our way home from New Jersey. We parked right in front of this bright, inviting tea shop and it struck me that a tea would be just what I needed to make it home to Boston. I have to say the tea they suggested was one of the most perfect teas I've ever had. What's a huge added bonus is that their teas can be ordered online shipped to me, so I ordered a bag right away. Thanks for a great tea great tea experience that I'll be able to repeat at home time time again.

Worth the drive! I've been a lifetime tea drinker but only recently started to explore loose leave teas. I wanted to visit a tea shop to learn more and through online research found Saavy Tea Gourmet in Madison, CT. WOW! I am so glad that we took the hour drive to check it out. I learned so much with my first visit. Both Emily and Phil were amazing! They took their time to determine my likes in order to make recommendations while at the same time teaching me a variety of things about tea. The knowledge that Phil has from his lifetime of tea research is so impressive! It inspires me to want to learn more. Words typed within this review can't even begin to express the experience I had today. I left with 8 different teas and can't wait to delve in. Besides being the best tea shop that you could dream up, each week, Saavy Tea Gourmet offers educational tea tastings. For $20 you can learn about the topic of the week while experiencing tasting different related teas. The menu of topics is expansive and I can't wait to attend a session. Thank you Phil and Emily for providing an experience for me today beyond what I could have ever expected. I enjoyed every second talking with you both.

Great little shop with a large collection of teas. Sweet owners. Also been enjoying the virtual tea tastings while in a different state.

Love this place! Phil is super nice and very knowledgeable. Had to resist from buying entire store haha
