Prime Time Tavern - Madison

This place was awesome 7 years ago. In 2023 the food is not great. We had burgers because the only other thing on the menu was filet mignon. And the burgers were so dry it was a good thing we sat at the bar. Price was cheap for today’s prices. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20

Not sure if the definition of medium-rare is different here but I 'm fairly certain if I can see the pink of my steak BEFORE I cut into something is wrong. I can only wish I had grabbed a picture. I honestly wouldn 't be surprised to find out later down the road I was served my steak BEFORE it was cooked. Salad was... different to say the least. I received about a 4th a head of lettuce, uncut. Along with a fourth of a tomato and a pickle. I wouldn 't really have minded and just looked past it as a style or aesthetic thing if the plate it was served on was actually capable of holding the contents. Server was good though. She was very friendly and always willing to answer any questions we had.

Always delicious. Team is friendly. I can't seem to get away from ordering the same thing EVERY TIME. Tips, medium rare. Try a strawberry margarita with the sugar rim. Tasty . Service: Dine in
