Bidrage med feedbackBest coffee in Madison! I've been coming here for years the service is spectacular and the coffee and baked goods are consistently the best! Always recommend this spot to friends and family
We live in the Westmorland neighborhood on the near west side of Madison We have been EVP patrons for two decades. The founder and owner Tracy Danner developed and delivers the experience! Richest, full bodied coffee in town. On top of that, a cool, community based vibe that is second to none. In a society that is increasingly disconnected with ordering by phone apps and being served in a drive up with someone donning a headset, EVP delivers with a personal, caring touch. Brian Tennant
I found EVP when I moved to Madison in 2016, and it was a regular stop for me on my way to work in the morning for almost 4 years. The lattes were always perfectly made (mocha or pumpkin spice were my go-to), bakery items were also delicious (don't hesitate on the cookies), and the employees were always super friendly and efficient. It was nice to go to a place where the employees would remember your name/drink order, it felt like a much more personalized experience and a warm environment. I moved right after the pandemic started (back to the east coast) and EVP is definitely a fond memory of my time living in Madison. I didn't get a chance to go back before I moved due to the pandemic, but I have been ordering EVP espresso beans online (very quick shipping), and now that I'm pregnant, the decaf espresso beans. It reminds me of Madison, and is the next best thing to getting a latte in person.
Great coffee, friendly folks, only downside is the environment is very loud even with just three customers inside. Lots of coffee-making noises (banging, pounding, hissing) that really fill the space and could distract from reading/conversation. If you are okay with the noise and enjoy a good cup of Joe, this place is perfect!
Great little spot! Strong espresso and many drip coffee options. Kind staff and humble/unassuming/working class like other EVP locations. Eclectic decor, definitely Madison.
