Bidrage med feedbackWe took lunch break in mid-December. I don't know much about Irish eating, but thought it could be fun to try some Irish brews. the decoration was interesting. looted on one side of a table and wooden chairs on the other side. or wooden benches on one side of a table and plough chairs on the other side. everything seemed somewhat dark and heavy with many red. our waitress was attentive and fast. Meh. I visited brocach last Sunday at 1 o'clock, I had visited brocach at past places for drinks, but that was my first time to eat there. three of us ordered the club sandwich. big mistake. it looked like we could have been home with hardly one speck, and all our pommes were limp and cold. If they charge $10 for a club sandwich, it is better good. will not return.
The drinks and ambiance were great, but I was not impressed with the food. The Scotch Egg was terrible- not much sausage on it and it was burnt. I sent it back. The shepherd's pie was dry. My husband had the Reuben and said he's had better. However, the service was excellent and they had a great variety of beer and cocktails. Try the pineapple infused vodka!!
Best steak I've ever had! The sauce, mushrooms and mashed potatoes are all complements of the best steak ever. I went to put Ruth's Chris in February and that was really good but this is my favorite place to go for steak in Madison.
YUM!. Brocach is a Madison gem. The food is consistently good, hearty, filling and easy on the wallet. I love the burgers, the salads are great and the Loaded BBQ Fries are soooooo goooood. The fish sandwich is a delight and the marble rye bread is fresh and delicious. The Irish Cheddar Melt is also a real treat chock full of avocado.
