Ashley's Ice Cream - Madison

We've been twice and it's such a quaint little place. It's a busy lil spot. Great choices in ice cream, cakes, etc. Small sitting indoor options. Though, to be honest, most of us will sit outdoors. ????

There were way too many customers here (without masks on) and only one employee working the front. The only other employee was too busy making ice cream cake orders. On top of that, the employee making the ice cream cakes, was chewing gum and her ponytail kept sweeping into the ice cream. Gross. These employees need some more training and much more help! Finally, there were most definitely customers in there that were too young to have been vaccinated and yet they had no masks on. My family, friends, and I are HIGHLY disappointed at this place. We've been coming here for years and have never had such a bad experience. Please fix everything because we all won't be back until you do.

Too much stabilizer. I thought the ice cream was too gummy. Just average neighborhood ice cream place. Nothing to go out for.

You haven’t eaten ice cream if you’ve never had one of Ashley’s ice creams with hot fudge AND hot peanut butter. Best in the US of A

We recently visited a restaurant called Ashley's for a late evening treat. We had heard about it online and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype from Google reviews. We each ordered a waffle bowl with ice cream and various toppings. My choice included strawberries, marshmallows, and caramel, while the other person got caramel, peanut butter sauce, and cookie dough. The ice cream was delicious and filling, though I wasn't able to finish mine. The restaurant was clean and the staff was attentive. Since we went around 9pm, there weren't many other customers there. I would definitely return in the future.
