Boodles - Madison Heights

I made a reservation for a table of 8 at 730 for my mom 60th birthday called today to verify my reservation and apparently they never booked it. They were rude and hung up in my face. The manager did. The girl did not give me his name but I believe her name was Tiffany. They said they were booked its nothing they can do and was rude and nasty about it. Now I have to figure something out for her 60th and my mom is sick and we don’t even know if she will be here next year.

Very retro, cozy atmosphere. Great service and food. An excellent evening.

I loved atmosphere and the lady who was singing did a AWESOME job. The food was great. Someone told me that it reminded them of the GODFATHER and yes it do I laughed the whole time I was there ? ? ?

There was no piano the night that I went, just some tired oldies playing softly on some busted speakers in the background… We went hoping to get some lobster, however that is no longer on the menu … The menu is simple and bland for the most part. I got the salmon special, which was basically what’s on the regular menu except they up charge you $10 for a crab cake. The crab cake was surprisingly good, the blackened salmon was incredibly salty though. The dining room could have used an update several decades ago. Our table was very small and cramped. We joked that it felt like dining on a tray table from frontier airlines, neither of us laughed though because it was nearly true. Nothing about our visit was impressive and nothing justified the $100 tab for dinner for two adults with no drinks. It’s very unlikely that I would give this place a second try …
