Mog - Madgaon

I ordered a chocolate cake for a birthday in June. The staff member was unhelpful and seemed disinterested. The cake was poorly decorated with chunks of chikki and strange flowers. The filling was supposed to be toffee or praline, but it was just a simple chocolate filling. Today, we tried a walnut cake from June 15th and it was not fresh, likely sitting out for at least three days. I have never experienced these issues with Breinard, the previous owners.

I have visited this restaurant multiple times, and each time I have chosen the chocolate muddies. They also provide customized cakes for special occasions, and we recently ordered a cake with a mermaid design.

We tried the Ferrero Rocher pastries at the bakery, but they were not fresh. The taste was mediocre, and to make matters worse, there were house flies trying to share our pastries. It was a disappointing experience overall.

We thought we had cracked it, from the outside everything looks good and inviting, the tee was ready, liptons with heavy milk and sugar, we let it, the quiche was chicken rather bland, the mushroom pattie was mixed over. the chocolate cake lacked moisture and despite its look not good, we left it. taking away a coy and chocolate chipcake we later had with a cuppa was ok, very light. all in all a little disappointing, glad that I tried, but unlikely to return.

Hidden on the ourskirts of Margao and very aptly named. They have a great selection ranging from cakes, pastries and chocolates. If you haven't visited Mog your missing your dose of love. Highly recommended.
