Hosteria la Estepa Restaurante

After spending two weeks in Argentina and traveling to Buenos Aires and Mendoza, my wife and I found our best meal at La Estepa Restaurant. My wife ordered the salmon and I ordered the Patagonic lamb, both were artfully cooked with wonderful flavors.

Per my earlier review of this hotel and as indicated there I believe we simply ordered the wrong items from the menu. We had trout, it was over cooked, the ham wrap was burned to the fish skin and the vegetables were floating in oil / fat. We left most of it. However it has to be said that several diners close to us had great steaks and other local dishes and so I would be happy to say that maybe we just got the wrong dish on the wrong night and the fact the restaurant is attached to the hotel makes it an ideal spot to have dinner. The views from the restaurant are great and the staff are very good.

Great view of Argentina lake, 10 min. away from the center. Delicious food all day. I love the lights in the afternoon. Have a drink looking the "estepa"and enjoy your dinner. I'm sure you will.

Résidant à l'hôtel et celui ci étant quelque peu excentré nous avons dîné deux soirs au restaurant . Si la vue est absolument fantastique car on surplombe toute la ville et la vue sur la baie vraiment très belle, le contenu des assiettes est un peu décevant, il y a peu de choix et il n'y a rien d'" extraordinaire" comme spécialité En revanche le personnel est très sympa et serviable

I stayed at La Estepa, and had dinner one night but the steak was only average. I suggest you ask what is good instead.
