Toast A Go-go - Mackinaw City

The overall customer service was great. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was okay. We found it overpriced for the quality and variety of food available.

Like other reviewers, I wasn’t impressed. It was my mistake that I didn’t ask the price when we stopped in and were informed it was buffet only, but like other reviewers, found getting through the buffet was a challenge. There was nothing to tell you what was available and sometimes one, sometimes two women serving what was there. The wait was ridiculous as they had to serve everything to you. The food was just okay, but way overpriced for what was offered plus paying for your drink on top. It was clean, which is why my rating is 2 stars instead of 1. I will not go back and will warn any friends coming to this area to avoid.

Toast A Go Go had a great breakfast buffet. Fortunately we had a BOGO coupon from our hotel, otherwise, it would have been a bit pricey. Overall, the egg bake was delicious and enjoyed the selection of fruit.

We went here after getting a bogo coupon from our hotel. We were greeted by a fast-talking host who informed us drinks were not included, and only buffet service was offered, but noticed that the PRICE of the buffet was purposefully not posted, nor a listing of items on the buffet. There are no trays offered on the buffet. When I asked for cereal I was handed a prepackaged cereal container- no milk, no bowl. No oatmeal or toast were available, and the other items were only consistent with a mediocre hotel breakfast. We didn't get a second cup of coffee, because the server never returned after saying that they needed to make more. Bottom line- $25.00 with BOGO coupon for two people, with one person only eating dry cereal (because of limited offerings to accommodate those with dietary restrictions). Save your time and money.
