Jamaica Blue cafe Mackay

Really nice little cafe. Staff are always friendly and the food tastes good too. Some great options for brunch on a weekend.

All I wanted was eggs on roast, I waited over an hour, the poached eggs were just the yoke with a thin layer of white over it... Served next to one price of small toast, $15, and it was stone clod... **** disgusting

The most lacklustre,bored,unprofessional staff I’ve ever seen. The young kiwi chick was serving a mate of hers so was eating chips off the plate and chatting with them;all whilst we’re all waiting in line for service. Finally get served and they begrudgingly asked me what I wanted. I had just spent 8years waiting so got a coffee. Which was lukewarm but tasted ok. I usually drive the 6kms to Mt P Jamaica Blue which I will continue to do-the staff there are wonderful,the coffee is always hot and consistently perfect! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO JB SYDNEY STREET.

So far the best coffee I’ve had in Mackay!!! I would go for a creamy and tasty Mocha. Friendly staff is a bonus!

Ordered a few take away coffees on Saturday 1st of Jan 2021 and they were the best coffees we’ve had in a long time! I really wish I told the barista, good on her, don’t come by a good coffee often these days. Loved the atmosphere here too.
